Actress Vrushika Mehta, who moved to Canada after her marriage, traveled to Mumbai specifically for Navratri festivities. She shares, "As a Gujarati, my love for Navratri and garba runs deep in my veins. Celebrations wouldn't be complete without them. The lively music fuels my energy, and I can easily break into garba at any time, anywhere." She expresses her excitement for getting dressed up, meeting friends, and dancing during Navratri.

Reflecting on her childhood memories of the festival, she recalls, "My mother used to dress me up and would have to bribe me with chocolates to keep me still while she painted three dots on my chin. I was very competitive and was determined to win a prize every night. Dancing with all my heart made me feel like a little star."

Discussing her preferred Navratri attire, Vrushika mentions her love for flared chaniya cholis but prefers lightweight ones for comfort and graceful spins. She adjusts her choice of jewelry based on the occasion, opting for heavier pieces when filming reels, and delicate ones when dancing, to complement her outfit. She dreams of someday experiencing the vibrant Navratri celebrations in Gujarat, despite growing up in Mumbai."I aspired to win every garba competition during my childhood. When reminiscing about her childhood memories of the festival, she recalls, "My mother used to dress me up. To make sure I stayed still while she painted three dots on my chin, she would entice me with chocolates (laughs). I was very competitive and was determined to win a prize every night. It was all about dancing with all my heart and feeling like a little star." When discussing her preferred Navratri look, she mentions, "I adore flared chaniya cholis, but I lean towards lightweight ones for comfort and graceful spins. As for jewelry, if I am filming a reel, I opt for something bold to make a statement. However, if I am dancing, I choose delicate pieces that complement my outfit."

"Looking forward to the day when Saurabh and I can celebrate Navratri together." Saurabh, her husband, enjoys garba with a style completely different from hers, which she would love to learn. Unfortunately, they have not yet had the opportunity to celebrate Navratri together. Nonetheless, they did get to play garba during her wedding events, which was enjoyable. She eagerly anticipates the day they can partake in Navratri celebrations together.

Vrushika expresses, "Spinning is definitely my favorite, along with the playful popatiyu. I also enjoy incorporating dodhiyu and trikoniya moves for a variety." When asked about her favorite garba song, she mentions, "Dakla is one of my all-time favorites due to its infectious energy. I am also a big fan of Falguni Pathak; her songs are iconic and always create the perfect Navratri ambiance." Reflecting on her favorite on-set Navratri memory, Vrushika recalls, "While shooting Dholi Taro Dhol Baaje on the sets of Dil Dosti Dance, it was a half-day affair, and we had a blast! Our D3 get-togethers always involve garba."
